Position Summary

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment across both high-volume warehouse roles and select office-based positions within an automotive distribution environment.

This role primarily focuses on hiring Material Handlers and Warehouse Associates while also supporting recruitment for administrative and office staff roles. In addition, the position may provide HR operational support including onboarding, employee inquiries, HR systems administration, and employee engagement activities.

The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring timely staffing, maintaining workforce stability, and delivering a positive candidate and employee experience across HR services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Cycle Recruitment (Warehouse & Office Roles)
·       Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume warehouse positions including Material Handlers, Warehouse Associates and leadership roles
·       Support recruitment for office-based positions including administrative coordinators, clerical, general office support and leadership roles
·       Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates using structured recruitment practices
·       Post job advertisements across job boards, internal postings, and community channels
·       Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for both operational and office roles

Stakeholder Collaboration
·       Partner with operations and departments to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities 
·       Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, challenges, and labour market conditions 
·       Advise hiring managers on selection practices and hiring strategies

Candidate Experience & Onboarding
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle 
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including reviewing/verifying documentation, reference checks, and orientation scheduling 
  • Support smooth integration of new hires into both warehouse and office environments
HR Operations & Employee Support
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records within HR files and system 
  • Respond to general HR inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner 
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events 
  • Support HR administrative processes related to hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities 
  • Provide general HR support as required
Systems, Tracking & Reporting
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now for HR administration, onboarding, and employee data management 
  • Experience with BetterTeam or similar recruitment platforms is an asset 
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, hiring volumes, and pipeline status 
  • Maintain accurate dashboards or reports to support HR and operational decision-making 
  • Ensure data integrity across all recruitment and HR systems 
Employer Branding & Sourcing
  • Participate in local recruitment initiatives, job fairs, and community outreach programs 
  • Build relationships with external agencies, community organizations, and talent networks 
  • Promote the organization as an employer of choice in both logistics and corporate talent markets
Other Duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of HR and business operations
Qualifications
Education & Experience
·       2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments
·       Experience recruiting both warehouse and office/administrative roles preferred
·       Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes
·       Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
·       Experience with ADP Workforce Now required or strongly preferred
·       Experience with BetterTeam or similar recruiting tools considered an asset
·       Strong ability to track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics
·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·       Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
·       Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (CHRP/CHRL an asset)
